Badeseen (Lej da Staz, Lej Nair, Lej Marsch)
The Upper Engadine lake landscape is a unique phenomenon. A series of magnificent lakes, each with its own character, is embedded in the wide valley basin. Some smaller lakes invite you to take a bath thanks to their warm water temperatures. They all have a special atmosphere, history and location to offer.
Fishing
St. Moritz and the Upper Engadine are considered a true fishing paradise. Whether on the Engadine mountain lakes or on the shores of Lake St. Moritz: mountain trout, grayling, char, etc. cavort in our waters. In the Hotel Waldhaus am See guests have the possibility to rent our own fishing boat for free!
Adventure pool
The Bellavita adventure pool is a water experience of the alpine kind. Newly renovated and extended, it is extremely versatile, sporty and playful. The exciting bathing world offers its guests everything their heart desires. Children have an unforgettable experience on the slide or various play and paddling opportunities in the water playground. Hiking
Whether on the “waterway to the six Lejins”, via Engiadina or along the idyllic lake landscape of the Upper Engadine – hiking in the Engadine is a spectacular experience in any case – not only for experienced mountaineers. Less ambitious mountaineers can be rocked to over 3000 metres above sea level with the mountain railways and rewarded with a panorama of superlatives. A network of over 580 km of hiking trails is waiting to be explored by you. In particular, the Hotel Waldhaus am See offers its guests a hiking guide, in which direct hiking trails are described from the hotel and some pictures are divided into different levels of difficulty as a first impression. Let us surprise you!
Bicycling
Over 400 kilometres of pure riding pleasure with numerous signposted mountain bike routes. Beautiful climbs, hilly stretches, attractive trails or spectacular panoramic views – that and much more offers you unforgettable riding fun. The mountain railways take mountain bikers to sporty heights and thus make new ones possible for the ambitious. In the Hotel Waldhaus am See guests have the possibility to rent their own bicycles for free! The hotel’s own hiking guide shows guests various routes directly from the hotel! For our hotel guests electric bicycles “Flyer” are available at preferential prices.
Golf
The most beautiful greens in a valley, golfers should not miss the unique experience in a magnificent scenery on the various golf courses with wood, iron or driver to make a tee. The Upper Engadine is the golf paradise of the Alps – with 5 golf courses and over 60 holes. Each course is unique and demanding in its own way.
